ABOUT US
Communities should help shape the decisions that affect them
Organisation Overview
Empower360 is a community-centred charitable trust established in September 2026. We strengthen community leadership, organisational capability, participation and influence. Empower360 provides online services throughout Aotearoa. In-person services are available in Wellington, with limited availability in Auckland depending on the request and our capacity.
Our Story
Empower360 was founded on the belief that every community should have a meaningful voice in the decisions shaping its future.
Across Aotearoa, diverse communities hold considerable knowledge, resilience, leadership and ambition. However, some remain underserved by existing systems or under-represented in the places where policies, services, funding and priorities are decided. Communities may be visible during consultation while still having limited influence over final decisions.
Smaller community organisations also carry significant responsibilities with limited funding, small teams and substantial volunteer effort. Access to governance advice, leadership development, operational support and trusted relationships can be uneven.
Empower360 was established to help close these gaps. We create opportunities for communities to build capability, develop leadership, connect with one another and engage meaningfully with decision-makers, funders, service providers and potential partners.
Our role is not to replace community voices. It is to help create platforms for those voices, strengthen community-led capability and build bridges between communities and the organisations that serve them.
